Meet Ali
Ali Abbasi, President of RIVUS Consulting LLC, is an Industry recognized professional with more than 30 years of experience in engineering, environment, construction, and O&M industry. Held strategic management, operations and technical roles in facilities, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. Expertise in program/construction management, development of standards and guidelines, process improvement, specifications writing, contract administration, risk management and quality assurance.
Ali practices continuous adaptation of new technologies in public sector infrastructure programs and projects. Ali has introduced innovative program and knowledge management concepts for several municipal governments in the Mid-Atlantic region. Accomplished in community and stakeholder coordination in nurturing project acceptance. Facilitates partnerships between multiple public agency and non-profit community organizations to achieve common program goals.
Skilled in public speaking, and written communication; strong analytical, planning and organizational proficiency. Experience in management of large capital improvement programs and project control; active in national engineering associations and author of several technical papers in professional conferences and trade association meetings. Strong emphasis on budget, cost and quality control in project execution.
